Completed - To Light Their Way

Over six weeks of planning, painting and procrastinating finally drawn to a close. My study of the pillar of fire from exodus is complete.

By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide then on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people. (Exodus 13:21-22 NIV)

How difficult it is to imagine the visual glory of God, even when given a tangible object to work from. I look forward to the day in heaven when I can look upon His face, knowing I have been justified by Christ as holy.

But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— (Colossians 1:22 NIV)
