Dream One: The Anointing

Here are some sketches of the first work in my series of dreams:


Dream one, the anointing.

Separated from her home church on the mission field, my friend's wife has struggled with her role in ministry abroad. The images are of two pairs of hands being anointed from an overflowing cup. Her husband's hands hold the cup, while hers are firmly supporting. The differences between the two sketches are subtle but important, with the one being more active in support, while the other is more tender. We will see which plays closer to her vision.
